// Mission, vision & values
Every company publishes values. Most of them are decoration. Ours are operational — they decide what we actually do when the easy option and the right option are not the same thing.
Shared across every RidgeLine company. The same six rules govern SummitRidge Technology, The Computer Doctors, and the software we run on.
// The Three Laws
Listed in priority order. When two of them conflict, the higher one wins — and Truth wins over everything.
We communicate with every person — owner, manager, or the employee who clicked the link — in a way that preserves their dignity and frames every gap as an opportunity. Specific data, always. Diplomatic framing, always. Nobody is made small.
We surface what matters before you have to ask. The failing drive, the expiring certificate, the license you are paying for and nobody uses. Waiting for a client to discover a problem is a failure. Silence is failure.
We never surprise you, deceive you, or act without your consent. Every recommendation is traceable to the data behind it. Every significant action is confirmable before it runs, or reversible after. If we miss an SLA, you hear it from us first — with the real number, not a euphemism.
Numbered 3 to 1 because 1 is the highest law — a countdown to the thing that must not fail.
// The Three North Stars
The North Stars earn trust. The Laws sustain it. Trust itself is not a law — it is what happens when the other six hold long enough that you stop having to check.
North Star
You believe we can do the work because we can prove it — documented skills, quality in the record, a track record that lives in data rather than testimonials.
North Star
We do what we said we would, when we said we would. Promises kept without being chased. Problems surfaced before you discover them.
North Star
A fair price — the one we would consider fair if we were the ones paying it. Nobody is sold work they do not need. The invoice never contains a surprise.
// Values
We follow through on every promise, every time.
We stay ahead of the curve so our clients don't have to.
We earn trust through consistent action, not words.
We hold ourselves to the highest standard in everything we do.
// Where they came from
These are not original to us. Law 3 comes from a truth-telling moral framework. Law 1 comes from a view of people as intrinsically valuable and therefore worth protecting. Law 2 comes from a service orientation rooted in something deeper than customer retention strategy.
You do not have to share any of that to work with us — it has never been a condition and never will be. But Law 3 means we do not hide things, and this is the thing behind the other things.
Publishing this is the easy part. If we ever fall short of it, we would genuinely rather hear from you than not.
