Priced per user, per month, the same in every region. They apply to Microsoft 365 seats on Tin, Bronze and Silver; Gold and Platinum already include Intune and Entra ID P1.
Every laptop and desktop gets the same security settings, automatically. If a laptop is lost or stolen, we wipe it remotely before anyone reads your email. New computers set themselves up with your apps and settings in minutes instead of an afternoon. Updates install on your schedule, not Microsoft's. It's also what cyber-insurance questionnaires are asking about when they ask "Do you manage your endpoints?" Included in Gold and Platinum.
Device management

This is the lock on the front door. With it we can require multi-factor authentication for everyone, with no exceptions and no "I'll set it up later." We block sign-ins from countries you don't do business in, which stops most password attacks before they start. We can require a company-managed computer before email will even open. Staff reset their own passwords safely, and groups manage access so a new hire gets the right folders on day one and a departing employee loses everything with one click. Included in Gold and Platinum. Bought together with Intune, Microsoft bundles them at a lower combined price, and that's what we pass through.
Identity and access

Everything in P1, plus Microsoft's risk engine watching every sign-in: a login from an impossible location, a leaked password, a sign-in that doesn't match the user's pattern. We get alerted or the account locks itself. Administrator access is granted only when needed and expires on its own, and access reviews prove to an auditor who had access to what. Worth it for healthcare, finance, legal and anyone with compliance obligations.
